Now the Final Fury is the thirty-second and final episode of Power Rangers Jungle Fury, concluding the six-episode endgame arc. This episode would be Casey's last appearance until the Power Rangers Super Megaforce episode, "Spirit of the Tiger".

Synopsis[]

History is about to repeat itself ten thousand years later as Dai Shi prepares to resurrect his Beast army and conquer the present-day world—unless the Power Rangers can convince a reluctant Jarrod to join them in the final battle.

Plot[]

The final episode of this series begins as Jarrod and Camille retreat to the Forbidden Room of the Pai Zhuq Temple, where Jarrod had released Dai Shi and later become his human host. Jarrod tells Camille that he feels guilty about all the things he had done under the control of Dai Shi, so he has isolated himself from the rest of the world.

Meanwhile, the Power Rangers are busy practicing their daily katas in RJ's loft above the Jungle Karma Pizza Parlor and preparing for the inevitable final battle with Dai Shi and his Beast Army. Casey realizes that the Rangers need Jarrod's help, but then, the alarm sounds.

Casey, Lily, and Theo are sent back to the Pai Zhuq temple to talk to Jarrod and ask for his help, while RJ and Dominic Hargan morph and take on the Rinshi led by Scorch. When the pair battle the Phantom Beast General, they are almost overpowered until Pai Zhuq Masters Finn, Swoop, and Phant show up to lend the Rangers a hand.

At the Pai Zhuq temple, Camille tries to convince Jarrod that it's not too late to redeem himself just as Casey, Theo and Lily arrive and repeat the same. Jarrod is too despondent and refuses them, guilt-ridden for his actions under Dai Shi's influence and that he'll never call upon his Lion Spirit again. The trio, seeing that they can't convince him, leave to defend the city.

Scorch easily handles RJ, Dominic and the Masters until the trio returns, upon which they destroy him with a combined attack. However, Scorch's attack had caused more than enough damage as the fear generated by the people allow him to open a portal to the Spirit Realm and summon nearly all of the Rangers' old adversaries, such as the Five Fingers of Poison, the Overlords, the Red Shadow Guards, the 10 Phantom Beasts, an Anglerfish Rinshi, a Fox Rinshi and plenty of Rinshi foot soldiers.

The two groups charge at one another, the Rangers and their allies defeating a good chunk of Dai Shi's revived forces. Casey, Theo and Lily are nearly overwhelmed by their adversaries when a blast of energy strikes them down, revealed to be from Masters Mao, Rilla, Guin and Lope, who were unintentionally brought along with Dai Shi's forces. With their assistance (after they become anthropomorph versions of their Animal Spirits), they are able to destroy the last of Dai Shi's forces, but Dai Shi soon appears and siphons the Animal Spirits of the masters, regaining his corporeal form.

Meanwhile, back at the Pai Zhuq temple, Flit, in his usual commentary fashion, explains to Camille and Jarrod that the Rangers are getting defeated by Dai Shi, who has reached his full dragon form. While Jarrod remains silent, Camille remembers that the Yellow Ranger (Lily) once told her that deep down, everyone has goodness within them, so she leaves and joins the Rangers in the final battle, just before the Wolf Pride Megazord and the Rhino Steel Zord are defeated while battling Dai Shi.

After a moment of thinking about all that was said to him and Camille, Jarrod also finally decides to join them. Calling on the power of his Lion Spirit and his Zocato powers, he enters Dai Shi's body, immobilizing and severely weakening the giant dragon in the process. Mao, realizing that Jarrod has given them their only chance, remarks that only the powers of the three Chosen Protectors can destroy Dai Shi for good. Channeling their own Animal Spirits, Casey, Theo and Lily slowly unleash a powerful blast and destroyed Dai Shi for good and the group celebrates their victory.

With the Rangers' quest completed, Theo decides that it is time for him to ask Lily out on a real date. Smiling, she asks him what took him so long to ask. At the Pai Zhuq temple, Casey has taken over the duties of head Sensei, teaching the ways of the Tiger. Jarrod and Camille have enrolled in the beginner's class, showing that it's not too late for them to start over. Casey then passes the lesson over to Jarrod as he has to go to JKP, who begins to teach them the ways of the Lion as Mao's ghost briefly observes the session in content. Even Flit has had his wish granted, as he has been turned back into his human form.

After class is over, Casey comes to JKP to aid in the send-off given to Dominic, who plans to trek across Europe. Fran is disappointed that Dominic is leaving, until he says he had an extra plane ticket and wanted to take her along. In her usual fashion, Fran hyperventilates about everything she would need to do to prepare, before she is given the famous quote of, "Breathe, Fran!" from the other Rangers.

The final scene shows the Forbidden Room, now with colored versions of Casey, Lily, and Theo in the form of their animals as the Pai Zhuq Masters who defeated Dai Shi, on it.

Cast[]

Errors[]

  • RJ said that Dai Shi can raise the spirits of all of his fallen army when not every last one of them joined the final battle.
  • In the beginning when the monsters came back to life, the Fox Rinshi and the Anglerfish Rinshi were not previously fought while the ten Phantom Beasts, the Overlords, the Red Shadow Guards, or the Five Fingers of Poison were. It is possible the Fox and Anglerfish Rinshi were ancient Rinshi defeated ten thousand years earlier, by the first Pai Zhuq.
  • Before the three masters charge at Scorch the clip is actually flipped. You can tell because not only have they switched places, but they are holding their weapons the wrong way.
  • While Dai Shi drains the masters' Animal Spirits, a camera click can faintly be heard. This however was fixed in the DVD release.
  • Despite being in the city, everyone mysteriously end up at a quarry before Jarrod and Camille help the others.
  • When Jarrod falls on the ground, he continues to scream even after he hits the ground.
